His name is Junior Knight! Junior is a Texas steel guitar hall of fame member as well one of the founders of the Texas steel guitar show & association. He has worked / Played steel Guitar for some of the best in the business. Tony Douglas, Gary Stewart, Leann Rimes, Jody Nix, just to name a few! He is a legend!
Following the Texas Steel Guitar Jamboree there will be a Jam in Juniors Honor at Lil Reds Longhorn Saloon in the Fort Worth stockyards on Sun March 13 from 2 pm to 6 pm. The stage will be open to any steel player that would like to participate as time permits! There will be a full band. Kelly Spinks has offered up his band as the host for the evening & you are in for a treat!
If you would like to attend there will be a small cover at the door, however this is not a benefit to raise money! This will be a chance to hear some of the best steel guitar in the country in its natural habitat…. "A Texas Dance Hall"! The folks are friendly and the dance floor will be open!
